    Me and my hubby were on vacation newly non-stop Ratnadeep supermarket, my hubby gazed by  refrigerator.  He was yearning for solidified parathas, generally ajwain parathas that were baked in lachhaa paratha style.  Though he forsaken off their sight, we knew that he indispensable them the most.  I, paid for smallest parcel of ajwain  and came home .  And yes, attempted simplest form of paratha and served with garlic vegetables, they were awesome.  This roti was layered, really savoury and soft too.

On the other hand, ajwain has an lot of healing properties… it is well known to heal digestive problems and can additionally assist on  problomatic conditions of liver, kidney, spleen etc.  I kneaded these mix with whey H2O that we had due to rasagulla credentials we made day before.  This can be replaced with comfortable H2O too

Ingredients required

  • 2 crater wheat flour
  • 11/2 tsp ajwain seeds, somewhat crushed
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp kasoori methi
  • Whey water/water to knead


Knead a soft mix using beforesaid ingredients.  Let this set for fifteen minutes. 
After that order them in to eight next to sized balls.  Roll out any ball as thinly as possible

Fold them twice, so that it resembles triangle.  Either we can hurl out again to form an triangular paratha or follow lachha paratha character as follows

Roll this triangle in to limit probable skinny circle.  Form crooked patterns that will form thick thread similar to structure.  This is rolled in round form.  Dust this with flour and hurl out in to round and tawa-toast them compartment brownish-red spots appear.

Serve hot with gravy of any choice.
