Hi everyone!

Here is a recipe for skillet lasagna.  It looks discerning and easy and we suspicion it would be undiluted for a weeknight meal.  Hope a little of we try it!

Skillet Lasagna
adapted from America’s Test Kitchen, Pasta Revolution
serves 4 to 6

3 (14.5 oz) cans total peeled tomatoes (or 1.5 twenty-eight oz cans)
1 Tbs olive oil
1 middle onion, diced
kosher salt and creatively belligerent black pepper
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
pinch red peppers flakes
3/4 tsp dusty Italian seasoning
1 lb belligerent sirloin
10 (curly-edged) lasagna noodles, damaged in to 2-inch pieces
3/4 crater shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 crater grated Parmesan cheese
3/4 crater ricotta cheese (part-skim is fine)
3 Tbs chopped uninformed basil

Pulse the tomatoes in a food processor until coarsely belligerent and no vast pieces remain, about twelve pulses. Heat the oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over middle heat. Add th onion and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and cook, stirring often, until softened, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in the garlic, peppers flakes, and Italian taste additive and cook until fragrant, about thirty seconds. Add the belligerent beef to the skillet. Cook, stirring mostly and regulating a wooden ladle to mangle up the meat, about 3 to 5 minutes, or until it’s no longer pink. Scatter the pasta in the skillet, afterwards flow the tomatoes over the top. Stir, enlarge the feverishness to medium-high, and cover. Cook at a powerful simmer, stirring often, until the pasta is tender, twenty mins (if we do not stir it, the pasta will clump together and hang to the bottom and sides of the skillet). Meanwhile, preheat the broiler. Remove the skillet from heat, and stir in half the mozzarella and parmesan, and 1/4 crater of the ricotta. Dot the superfluous ricotta over the noodles in tablespoons, afterwards shower with the superfluous mozzarella and parmesan. Transfer to the oven and sauté until the cheese melts and is starting to brown. Remove from oven, shower with basil, and serve.
