Here is a recipe for Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry.

Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry

2 tbsp vegetable oil, divided
½ lb boneless top sirloin steak, thinly sliced
½ c onion, sliced into strips
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 bag (12 oz) vegetable stir-fry mix
1 pkg (6 oz) frozen, sliced mushrooms
1 can (8 oz) slice water chestnuts
1 red bell pepper, sliced into strips
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 packet (1 oz) stir-fry seasoning, dissolved in 2 tbsp water
½ tsp red pepper flakes
In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tbsp of oil over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Remove from skillet. Add remaining oil to pan, then add onion, garlic and ginger; stir-fry for 1 minute. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms, water chestnuts and bell pepper; stir-fry for another 3 minutes. Return beef to pan and stir in oyster sauce, seasoning mix and pepper flakes; stir-fry for 3 more minutes. Serve with steamed rice.
Amy’s notes: I used ~.75 lb of steak; 1 small onion; 2 tsp ground ginger; 16 oz bag of frozen stir-fry veggies; omitted the frozen mushrooms; green bell pepper due to cost; overlooked dissolving the seasoning, but would def. do it next time; omitted pepper flakes for kids.
