Time Saving Tip #4 in Healthy Recipes blog.
I not long ago starting creation “Smoothie Pouches” often since we am perplexing to be effiecient in a kitchen and perplexing to cut down on time outlayed we do a same things over and over- effieciency is partial of eating well. If it’s as well hard, as well time consuming, or as well strenuous, many expected we won’t hang with it. So here’s my ultimate idea.
I package up my smoothie mixture once a week in to 5 bags (Quart Sized Ziplock). we make certain we have developed bananans for all a bags and afterwards we supplement my allotted solidified ripened offspring and veggies. Here’s where a large time saving tip comes in. we have proposed solidified my veggies in ice brick trays to make ‘veggie cubes” which can be tossed in to smoothies. Now, do not get me wrong, we LOVE carrying fresh veggies in my smoothie (versus solidified since we lax a small food worth when we freeze) but, on days when we do not have any “smoothie friendly” veggies left on palm these Kale Cubes in handy!
Add a single peeled orange and an complete garland of rinsed and de-stemmed kale to your Vitamix and mix until smooth. Scoop out with a ladle in to ice brick trays and freeze. Then supplement 2 -3 cubes to your smoothie pouches.
So in any veggie tote we would find something similar to this: 1 banana, solidified blueberries (1/2 cup), solidified pineapple (1/2 cup) solidified peaches, and 2 kale cubes. That equates to when we go to make my smoothie initial thing in a morning, we only bail out in a tote and supplement my coconut milk, water, flax seed, and any alternative uninformed veggies, similar to a couple of tomatoes or a cube of red cabbage and divided we go!
This creates creation smoothies each sunrise not so daunting- it’s additionally good to prep if we have a father who’s a small bashful on a Smoothie Making Task- this is blunder proof!
Side note: If we juice, we use to do this with my veggies for juicing. we would rinse & cut my carrots, celery, etc. during a commencement of a week and store it with a papertowel in a ziplock. Then they would be ready to extract each morning!
