Indulge this Easter with this omega-3 abounding cake that’s additionally installed with Vitamin C from Sandra Lee of the Food Network.


18.25-ounce box piquancy cake mix
1/2 crater vanilla low-fat yogurt
3 eggs

Caramelized Orange:

1 crater orange juice
1 crater sugar
1 tablespoon belligerent cinnamon
1 orange, thinly sliced

Cheese Frosting:

2 cups thickk cream cheese frosting
1 tablespoon belligerent cinnamon
1 teaspoon cinnamon extract


2 cups sliced almonds, toasted

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly cloak 2 (8-inch) cake pans with in progress spray. Set aside.
2. Mix cake mixture in a vast play with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Pour beat in to rebuilt cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. When done, cold cakes, spin onto handle racks and level.
3. For caramelized oranges: Boil initial 3 mixture in a vessel for 5 minutes. Add oranges and bring to boil for 5 mins more. Remove oranges to cool.
4. For frosting: Mix all mixture until smooth.
5. Assemble cake: Fill cake layers with frosting and ice on the outside. Press almond slivers on the outward and prepare orange slices on top.
